Dr. Marc Schneider is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a primary interest in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of shoulder, knee, sports medicine injuries and arthritis. His areas of expertise include arthroscopy, rotator cuff and labral repairs, total knee replacement, total shoulder replacement, ACL reconstruction, cartilage repair, and fractures in adults and children.
Dr. Schneider graduated from Case Western Reserve and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary society. After completing his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati Hospitals, he received additional training with world renown surgeons Dr. James Andrews and Dr. William Clancy at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham. Dr. Schneider has provided care for elite collegiate and professional athletes from the New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Auburn University, Carolina Panthers, and others.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and holds additional subspecialty board certification in sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Schneider has volunteered his time to help numerous orthopedic causes in Cincinnati, including providing sports team coverage for multiple area high schools. He has additionally played a role in teaching orthopedic surgery and family practice residents, physical therapists and athletic trainers in the Cincinnati area. Dr. Schneider was voted one of Cincinnati Magazines “Top Doctors” in 2011.
