The act of giving is something everyone can appreciate.
If we think about what makes a gift meaningful, it is not so much the thing itself. Even the simplest gifts can bring great joy to both the giver and the recipient.
The Christ Hospital Development Office is entrusted to receive all charitable gifts to the hospital, steward those funds responsibly and ensure that they are used according to the wishes of the donor. The Christ Hospital is a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation 501 (c) (3). All contributions are fully tax deductible as allowed by the law. The Christ Hospital Annual Fund
The Annual Fund provides a vital source of immediate unrestricted operating income for the hospital. Funds are used for the most immediate needs of the hospital on an annual basis. You may also choose to designate your gift to a specific area of the hospital such as a department or center, capital needs or medical/nursing education. Your gift at any level, from $25 to $10,000 is a greatly appreciated and valued investment in The Christ Hospital.
The 1888 Society
The 1888 Society is an annual giving club for individuals who choose to give at the $1,000 level. As a member of the 1888 Society, you will join an elite group of individuals throughout Greater Cincinnati that have developed a strong relationship with The Christ Hospital.
As an 1888 Society member you will receive the following benefits:
$10,000 + Platinum Level
- All of the benefits below, plus:
- Your name prominently highlighted on The Christ Hospital Donor Wall
$5,000 - $9,999 Gold Level
- All of the benefits below, plus:
- Free valet parking when visiting The Christ Hospital (6 times per year)
$2,500 - $4,999 Silver Level
- All of the benefits below, plus:
- 10% discount in The Christ Hospital Gift Shop
$1,000 - $2,499 Bronze Level
The 1888 Society recognizes donors (individuals and couples) at all levels with the following benefits:
- Membership in Senior Care Preferred (for those over age 50)
- Rx discount at Kroger
- Vision plan
- Dental discount
- Free local telephone service
- Free room TV
- Trips & tours for their 13,000 members
- Admission to community education programs, and for physicians, designated continuing education programs
- Recognition as an 1888 Society Member in relevant publications (The Christ Hospital’s Annual Report, Hospital Magazine, Honor Roll of Donors and Welcome Booklet)
