​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Medical Staff Services Department of The Christ Hospital Health Network works with our medical staff, allied health professionals, and hospital leadership to establish standards of care as determined by the regulatory environment and benchmarking standards within the health care community.

In addition, we:​

• ​Ensure that our leaders and members adhere to the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and all pertinent policies by providing expert consultation and support;
  
• Ensure that The Christ Hospital Health Network remains current and complies with all state, federal, and regulatory governing bodies;
  
• Ensure that all Medical Staff members and Allied Health Professional members are properly vetted according to the requirements of the Medical Staff Bylaws, The Joint Commission, State of Ohio, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and other regulatory requirements by providing primary-source and accurate verification services;
  
• Facilitate and support the Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation and Focused Professional Practice programs of the Medical Staff and AHP Staff;
  
• Support the Continuing Medical Education for the medical staff; and
  
• Support the Clinically Integrated Network’s credentialing, provider relations and provider data functions.
