Behavioral Health Services
The Christ Hospital offers a comprehensive Behavioral Health program featuring one of Ohio’s best known psychiatric program in a private hospital. Built on many years of expertise in the field of mental health and geriatrics the program includes inpatient and outpatient programs.

Inpatient Programs
Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit
The focus of the Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit is crisis stabilization for individuals 18 years of age and older who have a primary psychiatric diagnosis. The program includes a multidisciplinary assessment, diagnosis, intervention, evaluation and referral.

Senior Adult Mental Health Unit
The Senior Adult Mental Health Unit is a specialty unit designed for patients age 60 and older who require acute inpatient psychiatric care. The staff of psychiatrists, clinical coordinators, registered nurses, clinical social workers, occupational, art and recreational therapists are specially trained to treat the emotional, physical, spiritual, and social issues of older adults and their families.

Outpatient Programs
Partial Hospital Program - Mental Health
The Partial Hospital Program for Mental Health is utilized as a step down from inpatient hospitalization. This program can also be used in addition to individual therapy for crisis stabilization.

Intensive Outpatient - Mental Health
The Intensive Outpatient Program for Mental Health is available for adults and seniors. This program can serve as a step down from inpatient hospitalization or partial hospital programming. This program also provides crisis stabilization for patients in the community.
