Introduction/Mission
The Infection Control and Prevention Program at The Christ Hospital was began in the early 1970s.
The program is managed by an infectious disease physician and two full-time infection control nurses. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The goal of the Infection Control and Prevention Program is to provide support the hospital in minimizing the risk of infection to patients, hospital staff, physicians, students, volunteers and visitors. The faculty provides inpatient and outpatient consultative services and participates in epidemiology research.

The Infection Control and Prevention Program team includes:
