How does the eICU system work?
The eICU Program is an advanced telemedicine solution from VISICU, the leading provider of remote care to patients in ICUs. Using computers and private, high-speed data lines, ICU patients are monitored 24/7 by a critical care nurse, and by a trained intensivist from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. This team of medical professionals monitors these patients from The Christ Hospital’s Critical Connections Center, located in The Christ Hospital Medical Office Building.
