What is Tai Chi exactly and what can it do for me? Tai Chi is a form of slow rhythmical exercise performed with the goal of bringing balance to the internal energy system of the body. Tai Chi has been shown to decrease the pain of arthritis, reduce falls in older adults, improve cardiovascular system function, and reduce high blood pressure, stress, depression and anxiety. It calms the mind and improves posture, strength and balance.
