Imaging includes a wide array of services from digital x-rays and mammograms, to CT scans, MRIs, ultrasound and nuclear medicine. The Christ Hospital offers a full-service imaging center in the hospital setting as well as several off-site locations for some procedures.
Our physicians are among the most experienced in Greater Cincinnati, in both radiology and interventional radiology. Our imaging staff is well-trained and dedicated to providing the best possible care to our patients.
Accreditation
The Christ Hospital has become the first hospital in Greater Cincinnati to receive American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation in all advanced imaging modalities at all locations, including hospital-owned locations with advanced imaging capabilities. The ACR gold seal of accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. It is awarded only to facilities meeting ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards after a peer-review evaluation by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field. Image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs are assessed. The findings are reported to the ACR Committee on Accreditation, which subsequently provides the practice with a comprehensive report they can use for continuous practice improvement.
