Cincinnati (May 4, 2015) – The Christ Hospital Health Network has announced the appointment of Julie A. Holt, RN, MSN, CENP as chief nursing officer, effective May 18.
Holt has more than 20 years of progressive healthcare leadership, including 10 years of executive nursing leadership experience. Her most-recent position was with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where she was the vice president of patient care services. Prior to joining Children’s, Holt was the vice president, patient care services and chief nursing officer at Mercy Health Anderson Hospital.
In her new role, Holt will be responsible for setting the overall vision for patient care. She will work closely with both the executive team and providers to develop and implement a plan for the provision of patient care, standards of nursing practice, and implementation of an effective ongoing program to measure, assess and approve the quality of the patient care services delivered.
A Cincinnati native, Holt received both her BSN and MSN in Nursing Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
