Cincinnati - The Christ Hospital, in partnership with the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement, are inviting Girl Scout troops to participate in a heart-healthy lifestyle program to educate girls at a young age on ways to prevent heart disease. Troops will learn about the importance of living a heart-healthy lifestyle, including how the heart works, various exercises that contribute to a healthy heart and ways to incorporate a healthy diet into their lives. Participating troops will earn a special Go Red patch, along with earning an activity toward a Healthy Living badge.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Oct. 16 at The Christ Hospital. Registration is $10 per participant and includes lunch, patch and supplies. Please register by September 16. To register, call 513-585-1000.
