Welcome to The Christ Hospital Physicians - Urogyneclogy & Pelvic Floor Medicine

Nearly 30 percent of all women will develop a pelvic floor disorder  in their lifetime, but many don’t seek help. They may be too uncomfortable talking about their symptoms, think it’s just a normal part of aging, assume these kinds of problems can’t be corrected, or just aren’t sure what kind of specialist to see.

The good news is many women have regained control thanks to specialists with The Christ Hospital Physicians. Our team of board-certified urogynecologists and specially trained nurse practioner and physician's assistant are sensitive to the embarrassment many women feel and are highly specialized, working together to offer new treatments and techniques, including non-invasive options and minimally invasive surgery, to help women find relief.

Our unique multidisciplinary approach means that our physicians work other specialists, such as colon and rectal surgeons, urologists and physical therapists to offer a comprehnsive approach to your care. This is a benefit to our patients because various pelvic floor issues often coexist. For example, patients who have pelvic organ prolapse often experience issues with incontinence, and vice versa. Our specialists can evaluate the patients’ issues simultaneously, and, if surgery is needed, often address the issues in one surgical approach. And they do all this in a compassionate and collaborative environment.
