Healthspirations staff sat down with Daniel Pelchovitz, MD, from The Christ Hospital Physicians - Ohio Heart & Vascular, for the 27th episode of FilMD, our doc-umentary series, to talk about his love of indie rock, his favorite movie, the advice he'd give his nerdy 16-year-old self, and more!
About Dr. Pelchovitz
Dr. Pelchovitz is a Cincinnati native and graduate of Sycamore High School. He received a B.S. in biochemistry in the honors program at the University of Michigan. He then received his M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a residency in internal medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital and fellowships in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Northwestern University. During this time he won the prestigious American Heart Association Laennec Young Clinician Award and was a finalist for the American College of Cardiology Young Investigator Award.
"I had always planned to return to practice in my hometown, but this intent became even stronger after I met my wife, Rachel, who is also from Cincinnati. Now that we are parents, we can't think of a better city to raise our daughter. This city has the best sense of community and appreciation for family that I have experienced," said Dr. Pelchovitz.
