Cincinnati (September 6, 2016) - The Christ Hospital Physicians is pleased to welcome Rodney P. Geier, M.D., a board-certified radiation oncologist. Dr. Geier has been caring for patients in Greater Cincinnati for nearly 30 years. He will begin practicing with partners of The Christ Hospital Physicians – Hematology & Oncology on September 6, 2016. He is accepting new patients and can be reached at 513-321-4333.

He has joined medical oncologists, Manish Bhandari, MD, Robert L. Cody, MD, Irfan Firdaus, DO, Philip D. Leming, MD, Brian A. Mannion MD, PhD, Slobodan M. Stanisic, MD, Jamie K. Waselenko, MD, and Weiping Zang, MD, PhD, as well as radiation oncologists, Robert Summe, MD, and Cornelia McCluskey, MD.
Dr. Geier obtained his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his internship in the Department of Surgery at the Jewish Hospital. He performed his residency training in the Division of Radiation Oncology at The University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Dr. Geier specializes in treating patients with all forms of cancers and blood disorders. He has added interest in prostate, brain, lung and breast cancers.
Dr. Geier is annually named as one of the Top Doctors by Cincinnati magazine. He has served on the Board of Trustees at Cancer Family Care and Family Service of Cincinnati, and was a previous Councilor of The Cincinnati Academy of Medicine.
Away from work, Dr. Geier enjoys, golf, tennis and performing arts.
