Cincinnati (Feb. 1, 2017) – The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care is proud to welcome Virendra Patel, MD, FAAFP, FACEP. Dr. Patel is a family medicine physician who is accepting new patients beginning February 1, 2017 at 7451 S. Mason-Montgomery Road, Suite C in Mason. He can be reached at 513-588-5640.

Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Baroda, India. Following that, he completed his residency training in family medicine at Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his board certifications in Family Medicine followed by Emergency Medicine.

He practiced emergency medicine for more than 25 years during which time he served as chairman of the department for seven years. He has a strong passion for patient care and wellness. He was known for his effective bedside manner and focus on individual care. His areas of interest include preventative medicine, family medicine, comprehensive primary care plus, well visits and disease prevention.

Dr. Patel has been practicing family medicine for 15 years and is privileged to be a part of the Mason community where he spends time with his wife and family. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Family Practice.
 
His philosophy is to treat the whole patient, taking into account all medical, social and mental health concerns of the individual and wants his patients to lead healthy lifestyles.
