The Christ Hospital Welcomes John Kennedy, M.D., M.H.A. as Vice President for Medical Affairs

The Christ Hospital Health Network is pleased to announce that John Kennedy, M.D., M.H.A. been hired into the newly created position of Vice President for Medical Affairs. Dr. Kennedy began Tuesday, January 21.

Dr. Kennedy’s primary responsibilities will be overseeing all activities of the Medical Staff, including quality, credentialing and performance enhancement, utilization review, Graduate Medical Education, and the Institutional Review Board for research.

“Dr. Kennedy will be an invaluable addition to our leadership team at The Christ Hospital Health Network,” said Mike Jennings, President, The Christ Hospital Physicians and Vice President & Chief Clinical Officer.

Dr. Kennedy joins The Christ Hospital Health Network with a wealth of hospital leadership, having previously served as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Bon Secours Mercy Health Fairfield. Prior to that, he served as Chief Medical Officer of The Lindner Center for HOPE and Executive Director of the Institute for Psychiatry and Law at the University of Cincinnati.

After graduating from Hillsdale College with his Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Kennedy received his MD and Masters in Health Administration, and completed his residency in psychiatry at The Ohio State University.
