Cincinnati (June 28, 2022) – For the sixth year in a row, The Christ Hospital has received the Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades. This distinction places The Christ Hospital in the top 15 percent of hospitals in the nation for patient experience and the only Cincinnati area hospital to receive this distinction.
Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award™ recognized 399 hospitals for their outstanding performance in delivering a positive experience for patients during their hospital stay. The awards are based on an analysis of more than 3,100 hospitals that submitted at least 75 patient experience surveys to CMS for admissions between July 2020 and March 2021.
Healthgrades applied a scoring methodology to 10 patient experience measures, such as overall rating and whether a patient would recommend the hospital to family or friends, to identify recipients. The measure also includes whether a patient would recommend the hospital to family and friends.
