The Christ Hospital Health Network Names Christine Greiser Chadwell, MSN, APRN, NP-C New Director of Advanced Practice Providers

New Position Created to Respond Effectively to Opportunities to Improve Health of our Community

Cincinnati (July 9, 2015) – The Christ  Hospital Health Network is pleased to announce a new position created to respond effectively and efficiently to opportunities to improve the health of our community by providing excellent clinical outcomes and the finest patient experiences, in the most affordable way.

Christine Greiser Chadwell, APRN, will join the network as Director of Advanced Practice Providers, effective July 1. In this position, Christine will oversee, coordinate and work across the network to improve the integration of more than 60 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Christine will ensure that our APPs are appropriately and consistently delivering high-quality care.  In addition, she will be responsible for working with our medical staff and nursing leaders, overseeing the processes related to credentialing, accreditation, education, professional development and compliance of the APPs in their practice.  Christine will also continue to practice clinically as an Adult Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner. The role reports jointly to the Chief Nursing Officer and the Chief Clinical Officer.

Christine is a native to Northern Kentucky.  She began her nursing career in 1996 when she graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree.  She began working at The Christ Hospital as a charge nurse in the Emergency Department.  In 2002, Chadwell completed her Masters in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University, becoming an Advanced Practice RN.  In 2009, as an APRN, Chadwell returned to The Christ Hospital Health Network working as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.  Chadwell is also on the clinical teaching faculty for the Northern Kentucky University’s Nurse Practitioner Program.
