What You Can Do to Support Your Community During COVID-19

During these challenging times, it’s important to help those in our community. Here are some practical ways to do so.

COVID-19 plasma trial with Hoxworth

Hoxworth Blood Center is actively seeking individuals who have recovered from the COVID- 19 virus to donate plasma for an investigational treatment.

Hoxworth is working closely with the FDA and local hospital partners to treat local COVID- 19 patients with convalescent plasma. if you received a positive test for COVID- 19 and have been recovered for 28 days or longer, call Hoxworth at 513-451-0910 or visit Hoxworth's website to learn more.

Ways to support our healthcare workers

We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support we have received from the Tristate community, from folks sharing their thanks for our care team on social media, to asking how to provide supplies for those on the front lines. Your care and concern means the world to us. Here are some ways you can directly help our care team, in addition to staying home:

Feed a Hero, Back a Business - Support healthcare workers and local restaurants during COVID-19

The Christ Hospital Health Network is proud to partner with Feed a Hero, Back a Business. Support our brave healthcare workers and local restaurants in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic by purchasing a gift card and sending it to a healthcare worker on the frontline. Make a donation now.

Contribute to The Christ Hospital COVID-19 Response Fund

We have established The Christ Hospital COVID-19 Response Fund to support our caregivers and provide resources that are needed. We are asking that you join us in assisting those who put themselves in harm's way for the greater good. The fund will cover needed supplies and will also assist our front-line employees with their greatest needs. You can donate online or give us a call directly at 513-585-4128.

Send Messages of Hope & Inspirations

We know many of you are looking for ways to support and connect with the most vulnerable in our communities. Sending a note to patients, nursing home residents and frontline caregivers is powerful – and they need your encouragement now more than ever. Here are three easy ways to share your messages of hope:

Option 1: Share your inspiration message on social media

Take a photo of yourself making a heart symbol with your hands and post your message via Instagram or Facebook feed/stories
Share a video message (15 seconds or less) and post via Instagram or Facebook
Make sure you tag @thechristhospital and use #ThatMomentIsNow! If you don’t tag us, we may not see your message/won’t be able to share with our staff
Tag your friends and family to challenge them to do the same!

Option 2: Email us your inspirational messages using the email: patientandguestservices@thechristhospital.com.

Option 3: Mail us your inspirational messages or picture
