Lisa R. Gergen earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She then gained experience in the CCU/ICU, PACU, and surgery, where she obtained her surgical first assist status while specializing in orthopaedics and general surgery. Lisa continued her education, graduating with her Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University.
As a Certified Bariatric Nurse, she has worked as the Director of Clinical Operations, surgical first assist, and consulting faculty for a local bariatric surgery practice and specializes in orthopaedics of the hand and wrist.
Lisa is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Lisa was born and raised in northern Kentucky and now lives in the historic area of Covington with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys creative photography projects, staying fit, and together with her husband, they enjoy the theater, concerts, and museums that greater Cincinnati has to offer as well as traveling.
