Dr. Desai earned his BS in biology/molecular genetics from the College of Biological Science at Ohio State University and his medical degree from St. Matthew's University School of Medicine in the Cayman Islands. He completed his internal medicine residency at The Christ Hospital where he was awarded the Categorical Intern of the Year Award.
Dr. Desai is a member of the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine, the Association of Program Directors of Internal Medicine and the American College of Physicians.
He is also currently a member of the Clinical Competence Committee (formerly the Residency Advancement Committee), the GME Committee, Peer Review Committee, IM Performance Review Committee and the Transition of Care Committee.
