Prediabetes is a condition in which blood glucose levels are higher than normal putting you at risk for diabetes. Individual and group education sessions are provided by licensed and registered dietitians for adults diagnosed with prediabetes.
Tests to diagnose diabetes:
Impaired Fasting Glucose (IFG)
Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT)
Fasting Blood Glucose between 100 to 125mg/dL
Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) 5.7% to 6.4%

Unfortunately, most insurance plans do not currently cover prediabetes education. Session fees are self-pay and are due at the time of the class.
