Leading Technology for Early Detection of Heart Disease
Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. Until recently, the non-invasive procedures used to detect coronary artery disease (CAD) were only effective at diagnosing relatively advanced cases, so diagnosis usually required a surgical procedure such as a coronary angioplasty. Today, non-invasive screening options are available to provide a clear picture of your heart health.
Providing patients with the best possible outcomes, our cardiac imaging program is focused on early detection and treatment of CAD. Our advanced imaging experts consider many factors before deciding which CAD screening tools are appropriate for each individual patient.
Calcium Scoring & Cardiac CTA
Calcium scoring is a powerful tool for detecting calcium in the walls of the coronary arteries, which causes blockage. This test may provide critical information about the health of the heart arteries and can indicate that a patient has CAD.
Calcium in the coronary arteries alone does not provide information about the severity or exact location of a blockage. For this, our physicians use cardiac computed tomographic angiography (cardiac CTA), a diagnostic test that evaluates patients with chest pain or other possible cardiac symptoms. A CT scan utilizes X-rays to visualize the coronary arteries themselves and takes about 20-30 minutes.

Low-dose Radiation Testing
Our imaging team uses the latest and most recommended low-dose radiation imaging protocols to ensure the safety of our patients.
Highly Skilled & Experienced
Our physicians have the highest level of cardiac imaging qualifications. They are Level III trained in coronary CT angiography and board certified in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, placing them at the top in the country and among only a handful world-wide.
