The Christ Hospital Named the Region’s Most Preferred Hospital for the 21st Year in a Row

Cincinnati, OH (Nov. 7, 2016) – For the 21st consecutive year, The Christ Hospital has been named the Most Preferred Hospital in the region and winner of the 2016 Consumer Choice Award presented by National Research Corporation (NRC). In the NRC independent survey of local households, Market Insights, The Christ Hospital ranked #1 in all award categories: Best Doctors; Best Nurses; Best Overall Quality; and Best Image and Reputation.

The Christ Hospital is one of just 32 hospitals – out of nearly 5,000 nationwide – to have earned the Consumer Choice Award each year since its introduction in 1996. NRC surveys consumers in markets throughout the U.S. Locally, the region includes Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana.

National Research surveys more than 300,000 households in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia. Hospitals named by consumers are analyzed and ranked based on Core Based Statistical Areas defined by the U.S. Census Bureau, with winning facilities being ranked the highest.
