The Christ Hospital Launches Women’s Comprehensive Health Campaign to Address Medical Gaslighting

Campaign to Focus on Multiple Areas of Care Over a Woman’s Life

CINCINNATI (April 28, 2025) – For 135 years, The Christ Hospital Health Network has done everything it takes to be a world class destination for women’s healthcare in Greater Cincinnati. Now, the network is launching a new campaign that aims to empower women to take charge of their health through education, awareness and the promotion of healthcare services available for women at every stage in life.

As part of the campaign, The Christ Hospital Health Network produced a commercial highlighting jaw-dropping, yet consistently heard anecdotes from both providers and patients, that drives home the frustrations women can face when they voice concerns to their healthcare providers.

“We know women face unique challenges when it comes to taking care of their health, and having a trusted provider who listens, avoids judgement and leaves no stone unturned is critical for both preventing and treating disease effectively,” said Debbie Hayes, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network. “At The Christ Hospital Health Network, we have world renowned women providers, with the most experience in the region, and across every specialty. They work collaboratively to assure answers are uncovered and that care continuum is seamless to not cause disruption in treatment.”

This bold initiative comes on the heels of the network’s Women’s Wellness Eras Tour, a monthly virtual series highlighting an array of healthcare topics that patients wanted to learn more about. More than 5,000 women registered for the four lunch and learn events and more than 200 questions were submitted and addressed by providers. This was a leading indicator that women in our community are looking for answers from experts who truly care.

“Let’s be honest, women’s health is complicated,” said Jenny Collopy VP of Marketing at The Christ Hospital Health Network. “Just when you think you’ve navigated one stage successfully, another one waits that requires new expertise, new interventions and new support systems. Our goal with this campaign is to let women know they aren’t crazy, they aren’t high maintenance, they aren’t alone and they have access to compassionate experts who want to see them thrive.”

The Christ Hospital Health Network recently was a named a top maternity hospital by Newsweek for the third consecutive year, a top 100 hospital for patient experience by the Women’s Choice Awards and the top adult hospital system in Cincinnati for the 10th year in a row by U.S. News & World Report. These awards highlight the exceptional care provided to our patients that sets The Christ Hospital Health Network above other systems in the Tri-State.

The Women’s Comprehensive Health Campaign will be seen across multiple platforms including television, radio, streaming devices, billboards and social media. Educational videos, health awareness blogs, dates for the next round of webinars and access to our EZ Care Concierge service can be found here.
