Farmer Family Foundation Makes $15 Million Donation to The Christ Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute

Gift Marks Largest Philanthropic Investment in The Christ Hospital Health Network History

CINCINNATI (August 6, 2025) – The Christ Hospital Health Network received a $15 million gift from the Farmer Family Foundation to support the next era of innovation and excellence at its renowned Heart & Vascular Institute. The gift is the largest philanthropic investment in the history of The Christ Hospital Health Network.

The grant will provide support that will continue to elevate its renowned Heart and Vascular Institute to even greater heights enabling the team to continue the delivery of world class care to the members of our community. The investment will support development of a new state-of-the-art cardiac operating suite complete with a broadcast center offering real-time surgical education to physicians locally and around the world. Additionally, the gift will help bring the next generation of imaging technologies, including MRI, CT and PET scanners to this community, providing faster, more precise diagnoses, for patients and their families, improving outcomes, enabling us to expand our noninvasive diagnostic capabilities and providing access to cutting edge treatments.

This significant investment supports The Christ Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute’s strategic plan to elevate its nationally renowned heart program into a premier destination for care and the cornerstone of healthcare in Cincinnati. The Farmer Family Foundation’s generosity and commitment to fighting heart disease, the nation’s leading cause of death, will enable patients in the Tri-State to stay close to home to receive life-saving cardiovascular treatments.
