CINCINNATI (August 25, 2025) – The Christ Hospital was named the #2 system in Ohio for cancer care and ranked 37th in the country according to Money Magazine. Money’s rankings named the country’s top 75 institutions. You can find the full list here.
The rankings are based on four data points including:
•Federal ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services: Both quality and patient-experience ratings.
•Facility’s Specialization in Cancer: Category measures hospital’s level of focus on providing cancer care, its most performed procedures directly related to cancer treatment and a ratio of the number of oncology specialists to number of physicians.
•Cancer Services & Research: Hospitals with accredited programs by the American College of Surgeons. Hospitals that provided in-house palliative and hospice care and systems that participate in above-average levels of clinical trials.
•Designations and Accreditations: If a hospital was named a ‘comprehensive’, ‘clinical’ or ‘laboratory’ cancer center by the federal government. American College of Surgeons-designated Commission on Cancer hospitals, Academic Medical Centers and additional groups.

This award comes on the heels of The Christ Hospital being named the #1 Hospital in the Cincinnati Region for the eleventh year in a row by U.S. News & World Report and given five stars from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid.
