Newsweek and Statista developed a rigorous methodology to ensure the quality and validity of the ranking. Three data sources were used for the evaluation:

•International Online Survey: Accounts for 85% of the score conducted by thousands of healthcare professionals worldwide collecting recommendations across specialties. •Accreditation Data: Accounts for 10% of score and incorporates key certifications and accreditations relevant to the field.

•PROMs Implementation Survey: Accounts for 5% of the score and evaluates hospitals’ adoption of Patient Reported Outcome Measures.
