The Christ Hospital Named to Newsweek’s World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2026 List

The Christ Hospital Health Network Was Honored for Obstetrics & Gynecology

CINCINNATI (September 11, 2025) – The Christ Hospital has been recognized as one of Newsweek’s World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2026 List for Obstetrics & Gynecology. This comprehensive ranking looked at 12 key medical specialties.

The Christ Hospital specifically ranked 103 out of 125 hospitals worldwide and was the highest ranked Cincinnati hospital. The list is intended to be a resource to help patients make more informed and data-driven decisions when choosing the right hospital for their medical needs. You can find the full list on Newsweek’s website here.

“We are honored to be included on Newsweek’s World’s Best Specialized Hospitals list for obstetrics and gynecology care,” said Debbie Hayes, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network. “We know patients have a number of options when it comes to OB/GYN care in Greater Cincinnati. Awards like this show our providers at The Christ Hospital Health Network are doing everything it takes to provide the best experiences for our patients in the community who trust us with their healthcare needs.”

Newsweek and Statista developed a rigorous methodology to ensure the quality and validity of the ranking. Three data sources were used for the evaluation:

•International Online Survey: Accounts for 85% of the score conducted by thousands of healthcare professionals worldwide collecting recommendations across specialties. •Accreditation Data: Accounts for 10% of score and incorporates key certifications and accreditations relevant to the field.

•PROMs Implementation Survey: Accounts for 5% of the score and evaluates hospitals’ adoption of Patient Reported Outcome Measures.

“We are thrilled to be named as not just one of the best hospitals in the country for OB/GYN care but across the globe for the hard work and dedication of our women’s health team,” said Leanne Olshavsky, MD, medical director of women’s health at The Christ Hospital Health Network. “We continue to see an increase in demand for women’s healthcare and because of that, we are investing in the latest technology, therapies and care for our patients.
