C. Duane Bellamy, MD, is a board-certified physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians who specializes in Interventional Pain Management through The Christ Hospital’s Interventional Spine Program at the Joint & Spine Center in Mt. Auburn.
Dr. Bellamy joined The Christ Hospital team after years of providing pain management and anesthesia to patients at the hospital as a provider with Pain Management Associates (previously Anesthesia Associates of Cincinnati) where he served as director of the interventional pain practice and sat on the AAC board of directors.
He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati before going on to UC's College of Medicine for his medical degree. His postgraduate training was done in obstetrics and gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, and in anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky, where he spent six months in subspecialty training in pain management.
Dr. Bellamy is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, he is a diplomate of the American Boards of Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology, and he remains active in several professional societies.
