Dr. Morgan earned his bachelor of electrical engineering with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, also with highest honors and distinction.

He completed his internship and his residency in dermatology at the University of North Carolina Hospital, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Morgan is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
