Walk in and after hours orthopedic care

Walk-in Orthopedic Care

Injuries aren’t planned or scheduled. So, you shouldn’t have to wait for care. That’s why The Christ Hospital Health Network offers same or next-day scheduling with many of our specialists at eight convenient locations across Greater Cincinnati. To quickly schedule with a specialist, call 513-585-3000. We also offer two convenient walk-in options.

If you or a loved one experience an orthopedic or sports injury that requires walk-in care after regular hours without the wait times of an emergency room, our specialists are ready to provide a diagnosis and treatment plan at our Orthopedic After-Hours Clinic.

For immediate care during daytime hours, visit our Walk-in Orthopedic Clinic in Montgomery – where you’ll find same day diagnosis and treatment options to help you get back in action quickly.

Avoid the wait times of an emergency room visit while receiving specialized care featuring on-site imaging at convenient locations. No appointment necessary. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Same day services available at both locations

Both locations treat common orthopedic injuries including broken bones, sprains and strains, bumps and bruises, acute injuries, sports injuries, back and neck injuries, and others. All imaging is done on-site at the respective locations.

You will be seen by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant at the clinic, who will be able to assess your condition, provide treatment options (non-surgical and surgical), as well as set up any follow-up appointments as necessary with one of our specialists.

Walk-In Clinic Frequently Asked Questions

Do patients need an appointment?

No. Patients are seen on a walk-in basis and slots are filled on a first come first served basis. When you arrive, you will be given an “appointment time” in the order of arrival at designated time slots.

Can my doctor send me to the walk-in clinic on the same day I seem them?

Yes, your referring provider may send you to the walk-in clinic. Please don’t hesitate to call ahead to check estimated wait times at 513-585-2663.

Do you treat more than one complaint or body part per visit?

To allow for timely walk-in care, we generally limit evaluation to one complaint or body part per visit. Certain exceptions may apply.

What ages do you treat?

For most injuries, we can treat injuries for patients as young as 13 (certain exceptions may apply for severe injuries). For patients under 13, we recommend visiting Cincinnati Childrens’ FAST orthopedic clinics.

Do you use injections?

Yes, if indicated for a specific injury. Although, there are some specialty injections that we do not offer at the clinic such as hand/wrist, foot/ankle, intra-articular hip, and spine.

What services do you perform at the clinic?

We evaluate and treat all orthopedic injuries. This includes performing and evaluating x-rays in the office. We provide braces and splints, perform injections, order MRIs and CTs, prescribe therapy and medications, and arrange follow up with a specialist when appropriate.

What injuries will you see?

We can evaluate and provide treatment or referral for any acute or chronic orthopedic and spine-related injuries and musculoskeletal complaints including pain, sprain, strain, fracture, sports injuries, and falls.

Are there restrictions to visit types?

We are not able to provide evaluation or treatment for the following:

  • Acute motor vehicle crash injuries (or anything with an auto claim)

  • Complaints related to an assault

  • Anything legal-related (ie. Patient has attorney related to circumstances of injury)

  • Workers’ comp claims (Note: work-related injuries are okay)
