Andrea M. Malson, MSN, APRN-CNP, is a board-certified advanced practice nurse who specializes in sleep medicine. She provides care for patients of The Christ Hospital Physicians – Sleep Medicine at multiple locations throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Andrea realized as early as a teenager after taking a first aid course before driver’s ed that she had a strong interest in pursuing a career in medicine. She began her career as an emergency medical technician before going to nursing school. She has a wealth of experience providing care as a nurse in various critical care settings.

She believes that compassion and providing thorough patient education are crucial to delivering the highest level of care. She also advocates for her patients to be involved in the development of their own personalized plan of care.

Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University. She also earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in education from Walden University and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Ohio University. She is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

In her free time, she likes to read, travel, and spend time with her children and husband.
