Nocturnist

The Christ Hospital seeks Internal Medicine Hospitalists to provide inpatient care during night hours and provide night-coverage hospitalist services. Family Medicine physicians interested in inpatient adult; acute-care medicine should inquire.   This established program has three physician members, and the Nocturnist Program Physicians mutually determine their schedules to provide coverage as follows: 

  • Weekdays, 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.

  • Weekends and holidays, 5 p.m. - 7 a.m.

The Nocturnist Program will support The Christ Hospital Health Network's mission to provide the finest patient experience and improve the health of the community.  Current hospitalist coverage exists during the day by lnternal Medicine, Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine specialists.  An Intensivist group oversees all critical care (ICU) at TCH.  Hospitalists will supervise night float interns from TCH's Internal Medicine Residency Program and will have the ability for resident teaching.  Details of the Nocturnist Program will be shared with interested candidates.

Sleep Medicine 

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a full-time, BC/BE sleep medicine physician to join our thriving practice in the Greater Cincinnati area. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding, motivated clinician who is able to work in a collaborative environment and excel in our nationally recognized hospital. This will be an opportunity to establish a long-term practice generated by the strong referral base within the Cincinnati’s “heart” hospital and reputation of the practice.

  • Join 2 board certified pulmonology & sleep physicians supported by 4 Nurse Practitioners.

  • Prefer Neurology and Sleep boarded/eligible to expand the scope of the practice.

  • Home sleep study program integrated into the office with support from sleep techs, Respiratory therapist, and sleep educators.

Women's Heart Center General Cardiologist

The Christ Hospital Health Network and The Christ Hospital Physicians-Ohio Heart and Vascular are seeking a General Cardiologist to join the Christ Hospital Women's Heart Center.

The candidate will actively participate in the Women's Heart Center program development, strategic direction, research development, education and community outreach in addition to clinic care specialized in women's cardiovascular health. This individual will serve as a key contributor in the hospital's effort to achieve recognition as one of the nation's top ten community hospital-based cardiovascular programs. The successful candidate will quickly establish collaborative relationships with TCHHN medical staff leadership and physicians. 

Candidate must be board eligible or certified in general cardiology and have the ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio and Kentucky State Medical License and DEA. Seeking cardiologist with interest in Women's Cardiovascular Health and additional training in Women's Cardiovascular Health although this is not a requirement. The Carl and Edyth Lindner Center for Research and Education at The Christ Hospital

The Lindner Center has become an international leader in clinical cardiovascular research.  The impact of its work has transformed cardiovascular care and brought new treatments to patients in Greater Cincinnati, long before these treatments were available elsewhere in our country.  The Lindner Center offers 130-160 active clinical trials at any given time, produces more than 200 peer-reviewed publications each year and hosts educational forums for both physicians and consumers.  Over the past 30 years, The Lindner Center has helped pioneer numerous leading-edge drugs and medical devices, including 10 first-in-man and 24 first-in-the-U.S. procedures which have contributed to best practice standards for the care of patients. The center has participated in over 1,200 clinical trials, Phase I-IV, and introduced many of the newest techniques that have transformed healthcare over the years. The Women's Heart Center though The Lindner Center for research is actively enrolling in research studies to close the gaps in women's cardiovascular disease. These include trials in cardiac diseases that predominantly affect women and are largely understudied including ischemia and no obstructive coronary artery disease (INOCA) and coronary microvascular disease and women specific risk factors for cardiac disease such as hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.
