Whenever possible, financial counselors assist you before you receive care. For non-urgent or elective services, we try to work with you early in the registration or admissions process. That gives us time to understand your situation and your healthcare coverage, and figure out the best way to help you.
However, during emergencies, you are guaranteed stabilizing care regardless of your ability to pay. The Christ Hospital Health Network complies with the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA).
To your appointment, please bring your photo ID, insurance card (if you have one), and proof of income, which can be paycheck stubs or your latest tax return.
Schedule your financial counseling appointment weekdays, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Patients or applicants who feel they have been the subject of a discriminatory act of practice may file formal complaints directly with the Ohio Department of Public Welfare or the Office for Civil Rights, HEW.
The hospital also is in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 in that it does not discriminate against patients on the grounds of physical disability.
