Prospective PGY2 Cardiology Residency Candidate,
Thank you for your interest in our program! This is an exciting time as you determine the best place for you to continue your residency journey.
At The Christ Hospital, our goal is to provide you with a cardiology residency that gives you the chance to strengthen and expand your clinical knowledge, gain additional research experience, and further develop your communication skills through presentations to a variety of audiences. You will have the chance to work with preceptors who are dedicated clinicians with an enthusiasm for residency education as well as treatment teams who specialize in a variety of cardiac disorders.

Position Statement
PGY2 residency programs build upon Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency training to develop pharmacist practitioners with knowledge, skills, and abilities as defined in the educational competency areas, goals, and objectives for advanced practice areas. Residents who successfully complete PGY2 residency programs are prepared for advanced patient care or other specialized positions, and board certification in the advanced practice area, if available.
