Tell Us You're On Your Way to the ER
If you’re experiencing an emergency, call 911.
However, if you need immediate care for a serious but non-life-threatening condition, you can check in online for your emergency room visit using On My Way. It lets you see estimated wait times and can cut down on some of the check-in steps when you arrive at the hospital.
Please note the following about On My Way:
- It’s not an appointment or reservation service.
- Use On My Way if you have a non-life- and non-limb-threatening medical condition and want to make an informed decision about which emergency location to choose, check in to get a spot in line, and help the care team prepare for your arrival.
- When you arrive at the ER, check in with the nurse triage desk. Your projected treatment time may be delayed because patients with the most life-threatening or critical needs are seen first.
- If needed, you can cancel your On My Way check-in using MyChart or by calling the emergency department directly.
