Our state-of-the-art, boutique-like Family Birthing Center in Liberty Township provides customized services and amenities to make your birthing experience as special and comfortable as possible. We offer: 

• Single-room care in one of nine labor, delivery, recovery, and post-partum rooms with kitchenette 
• Four private, special care nursery rooms 
• Two dedicated Cesarean section (C-Section) birthing rooms  
• Gentle C-Section 
• The region's only Cesarean section viewing room, allowing families to be in a room adjacent to the operating room, and watch a planned C-section through a window(with prior permission from the doctor) 
• Hydrotherapy and extra-large showers with seats for moms planning a natural childbirth 
• Inpatient and outpatient lactation services 
• Room-service style nutrition service 

Laborist Model

We use a laborist model for our obstetric patients. A laborist is an obstetrician-gynecologist (OB-GYN) who works full-time in a hospital or for a physician group exclusively to treat women in labor, or to respond to obstetric emergencies. This 24/7 obstetrician presence helps to reduce complications from many labor and delivery emergencies and will lead to improved patient safety and improved overall experience.  

This is especially true for high-risk and emergency situations. This model was designed with your needs in mind, and we are confident that we will provide you with exceptional obstetrical care. 

 

Breastmilk Donation Center & Dispensary

We are a breastmilk donation center​ for the OhioHealth Mother's Milk Bank in Columbus. We are also a breast milk dispensary, meaning mothers in need of pasteurized breast milk can now purchase it at our location as a bridge until their own comes in. Patients will need a written prescription from their baby's doctor. 

The OhioHealth Mothers’ Milk Bank, under the guidelines of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA), provides pasteurized human milk to those infants whose mothers are unable to provide milk to nourish their babies. It is one of just 32 milk banks in North America.
