The World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2024 ranking identifies the best hospitals worldwide in 12 medical fields including cardiac surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, neurosurgery, obstetrics & gynecology, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, pulmonology and urology. The Christ Hospital Health Network was the only hospital system in Cincinnati to make the list.

Newsweek and Statista invited tens of thousands of medical experts—including doctors, hospital managers, and health care professionals—to participate in online surveys that allowed them to recommend and assess various hospitals within their respective specializations. Accreditations and certificates were analyzed as well as patient reported outcome measures or PROMs. PROMs are standardized questionnaires completed by patients based on their well-being and quality of life.
