Regina Kohls, MD, Takes on New Leadership Position
CINCINNATI (August 14, 2026) – Regina Kohls, MD, has been named the Roger and Joyce Howe Distinguished Executive Medical Director of Primary Care for The Christ Hospital Physicians. In this role, Dr. Kohls will lead the strategic growth and clinical direction of our Primary Care service line, working to expand access, strengthen physician recruitment, advance value-based care, and further enhance the exceptional patient experience.
Dr. Kohls has been a valued member of The Christ Hospital Physicians since 2021 and has served as Associate Medical Director for Primary Care since 2025. A board-certified family physician and the 2024 Ohio Academy of Family Physicians' Family Physician of the Year, she brings decades of clinical and physician leadership experience, including leading independent and employed physician practices through periods of significant growth and transformation.
