The Christ Hospital has entered into a joint venture with DASCO Home Medical Equipment.

DASCO is a family-owned and operated home medical equipment company based in Columbus, Ohio. It has been providing home medical equipment throughout Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia for more than 30 years with similar joint ventures at eight of its 16 locations.

The new joint venture, DASCO-TCH Home Medical Equipment, is designed to offer patients a smoother transition from hospital to home, improve ease of ordering, and enhance the flow of communication for inpatient and outpatient providers. The partnership between The Christ Hospital and DASCO will enhance the experience for patients who choose to use this service and positively influence the ease with which patients are transitioning along the continuum of care by leveraging DASCO’s long-time expertise in the business.

DASCO-TCH Home Medical Equipment will specialize in provision of respiratory equipment, such as home oxygen, non-invasive ventilation, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), Bi-Level Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP), nebulizers and other similar equipment and supplies. Walkers, wheelchairs, adjustable beds, rollators, bedside commodes and off-the-shelf orthopedic supplies will also be available.

A new facility opened February 1, 2020 at 4760 Red Bank Expressway, Suite 232, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227. The location is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Home delivery and shipping are also available. A 24-hour on-call service will be available seven days a week.
