The Christ Hospital Health Network is pleased to announce that Jennifer Barry has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer of The Christ Hospital Physicians (TCHP) effective immediately.

The Christ Hospital Health Network is pleased to announce that Jennifer Barry has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer of The Christ Hospital Physicians (TCHP) effective immediately.

TCHP, which has grown to include over 1,700 team members and more than 100 locations across the Greater Cincinnati Region, is proud to offer high-quality care rooted in The Christ Hospital’s mission of providing exceptional outcomes and the finest patient experiences, all in an affordable way. As TCHP COO, Barry will lead the development and execution of operating goals, continuing to enhance the quality, patient-centric care the group has come to be known for.

The healthcare needs of our patients are ever-evolving, particularly with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic. Barry’s primary role will be ensuring TCHP continues to meet and exceed those needs in our outpatient offices and facilities. Her responsibilities include leveraging technology to improve care coordination, employing and training the best talent, optimizing office operations, and coordinating with The Christ Hospital’s Experience Officer to make certain we continue to provide the very best experiences for our patients.

Barry joins The Christ Hospital Physicians with over 30 years of healthcare operations experience. She previously served as the Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Ambulatory Services at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and has held numerous leadership positions such as Chief Operating Officer at Bon Secours Medical Group in Greenville, SC and Department Administrator and Director of Ambulatory Clinical Operations for the Department of Internal Medicine at UK Healthcare in Lexington, KY. The vast majority of her experience comes from her 25 years at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where she held various leadership roles after beginning her career path as a Medical Assistant.

Barry graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from Augsburg College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Information Technology from Cardinal Stritch University. She enjoys traveling, walking, flower arranging and spending time with her friends and family.
