Cincinnati (August 17, 2023) – For the seventh year in a row, The Christ Hospital has received the Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades. This distinction places The Christ Hospital in the top 15% of hospitals in the nation for patient experience and the only Cincinnati area hospital to receive this distinction.
Healthgrades applied a scoring methodology to 10 patient experience measures, such as overall rating whether a patient would recommend the hospital to family or friends, cleanliness, quietness, communication with doctors and nurses and care transition.

Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award™ recognized 419 hospitals for their outstanding performance in delivering a positive experience for patients during their hospital stay. Healthgrades evaluates patient experience in U.S. hospitals using Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient survey data released in January 2022 by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), covering patients discharged between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021.
