About Michael Sunghun Yi, MD

Michael Yi, MD, MSc, is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics who earned his medical degree from The Medical College of Virginia in 1995. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 1999. He completed an Health Outcomes Research fellowship at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2001 and attained a Masters in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health during that time. He has been practicing in the Cincinnati area since then.

In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, travelling and spending time with his spouse and four children

I came in for an annual exam - not an acute problem. I'm not a doctor and am looking for a provider that will guide me as to what is appropriate for my age (58) to ensure I'm in good health - cardiovascular or cancer screenings, blood tests, etc.When Dr walked into the room, he asked: well, what do you want to talk about today? I told him that I was here for an annual checkup and nothing specific. He listened to my heart and lungs and that was it - hardly an annual physical.
