    About Elizabeth A. Moore, DO

Dr. Elizabeth Moore specializes in high-risk pregnancy, which can be if the mother or baby has a higher risk of complications. A high-risk pregnancy may require special attention and monitoring during the pregnancy.

She earned her bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Toledo and her doctor of osteopathic medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Grandview/Southview Hospital - Kettering Health Network, where she was elected chief intern and chief resident. Dr. Moore is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG) and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM).

In her free time, Dr. Moore enjoys spending time with her husband, Garth, and her two children, Zack and Abby. As the youngest of 13 children, she understands the importance of family no matter the size. She is very devoted to them and their time together. Dr. Moore enjoys almost anything outdoors – gardening (vegetables and flowers), biking, swimming, parks, festivals, etc. She also enjoys cooking, shopping, and "family movie night."

Having gone through some close family illnesses and losses, Dr. Moore is exceptionally sensitive to the difficult prognoses some patients and families must, unfortunately, face in pregnancy. She exudes a warm bedside manner, compassion, and excellent listening skills. Each pregnant woman is treated as if "she is a sister or best friend." Dr. Moore states, "by having that mentality, you know the patient is always getting the absolute best care." Each patient and their family is considered a vital member of the health care team to help determine the best course of action for them and their unique situation.
