Nadia El Hangouche, MD, is a board-certified physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Heart & Vascular who specializes in multimodality cardiovascular imaging. She has special interests in valvular disease, echocardiographic guidance structural interventions, and cardiac MRI and CT. She provides inpatient and outpatient services at the Montgomery and Mt. Auburn locations.
Dr. El Hangouche was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by a strong need to help other people. She strives to provide the same care to her patients that she would her own family members. She advises her patients on the importance of investing time, energy, and resources in their own health.
She earned her medical degree from University Mohammed V. Souissi. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Presence St. Francis Hospital, a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, and a fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She is certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Other board certifications include computed tomography (CT), cardiovascular MRI, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.
