Shawn Huynh, DO is a physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care who specializes in family medicine. He provides care for patients of all ages at the Green Township location.Dr. Huynh credits the inspiration and support of his family in driving him to pursue a career in medicine. “They have always believed in me and provided the spiritual and mental support, along with the resources to help me achieve my passion for medicine,” he says.He approaches care for his patients with the goal of helping them to be the healthiest version of themselves, and he advocates for them to be proactive in reaching that goal. “Healthcare starts early,” he says. “The sooner we are able to help patients understand what it really means to be healthy and happy, and what it takes to get there, the better we are as providers.”Dr. Huynh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, A Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University, a Master of Biomedical Science from the University of the Incarnate Word, and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency with the Bethesda Family Practice Residency Program.In his free time, Dr. Huynh enjoys traveling the world, functional fitness, cycling, horology, enjoying good coffee, and spending time with his dogs.
