Dr. Deaton earned her BS in biology and nursing from Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg, VA and her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, where she also completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Deaton is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is a member of the Hamilton County Falls Prevention Task Force and serves on several committees at The Christ Hospital, including: Medical Records, Performance Improvement, Medical Education, Transition of Care, Medical Staff Quality and the Women in Medicine Steering Committee.
Her areas of special interest include: stroke, spinal cord injuries, cardiac disorders, renal disease, cancer, orthopaedic problems, electromyography, nerve conduction studies, geriatric rehabilitation, outpatient musculoskeletal and occupational medicine.
