About Amanda M. Denney, MD

Dr. Denney is board-certified in endocrinology. She specializes in helping patients manage diabetes and other hormone disorders. She received her medical degree from Wright State University. Her internship was completed at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, followed by her residency at Case Western Reserve University, and a fellowship at University Hospital in Cincinnati.

Dr. Denney along with The Christ Hospital Diabetes and Endocrine Center, was awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) in 2011. NCQA and the American Diabetes Association developed the Diabetes Recognition Program to acknowledge physicians and other clinicians who use evidence-based measures and provide excellent care to their patients with diabetes.

Most recently, Dr. Denney was awarded 2020 Cincy Best Doc in the Endocrinology Diabetes & Metabolism category.

Dr Denney's listening skills and "reading" of a patient's personality are exceptional. She offered suggestions for lifestyle habits to embrace as a "holistic" approach to my health and shared test results in an understandable way. She asked and answered questions in a manner that made me feel seen and heard. AND she smiled warmly during the entire visit!
