Gwendolyn Welsh, DO, MS, earned her B.S. in Cellular and Molecular biology from Ball State University where she graduated Cum Laude. She earned a M.S. in Biology at University of Cincinnati, studying brominated flame retardants. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Osteopathy from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at The Christ Hospital. Dr. Welsh is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Ohio Osteopathic Association. She was awarded the Southwestern Ohio Society of Family Physicians Kenneth A. Frederick, MD Family Medicine Residency Award in 2015.
Dr. Welsh was born and raised in the West side of Cincinnati and attended Mother of Mercy High School. Her areas of interests include preventive medicine, wellness, women's healthcare, pediatrics, prenatal care and osteopathic manipulation.
