Dr. Boury was born and raised just outside of London, England. She was inspired at an early age by her mother whom was a practicing nurse, midwife, and social worker. After finishing undergraduate school at The University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom, she began her medical school at St. Matthews University in the Cayman Islands. After only 9 months there, she survived a level 5 hurricane, forcing her and her peers to move to Maine to finish their training.
With her interest in a wide variety of medical fields and a strong desire to provide care for the entire family, she pursued a career in family medicine and joined The Christ Hospital and UC family medicine residency program. While in residency, she volunteered to provide medical care at local homeless shelters as well as participated in medical missions treating underserved populations in both Honduras and Ecuador.
After residency, she became board-certified in family medicine and joined The Christ Hospital Physicians in Fort Wright, Kentucky. Dr. Boury enjoys caring for the whole family and specializes in preventative health and women's health. She is certified in wound care, working alongside a wound care team on a weekly basis. She is also actively involved in the clinical education of UC medical students.
In her spare time, she loves to travel and experience new cultures. She has many passions including hiking and cooking, particularly baking. She admits to being a bit of a foodie and you may find her at one of the great restaurants in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. She also loves spending time with her family and taking long walks with her beloved mini golden doodle, Leo.
