Dr. Albert Tang is board-certified in Family Medicine, seeing primary care patients of all ages with different needs. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with Distinction. He earned his medical degree from University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, PA. Dr. Tang then completed his family residency program at the St. Vincent Family Medicine in Erie, PA. Dr. Tang has been involved in music for most of his life and plays various instruments, and earned a Major in Music at University of Michigan. During his free time, he enjoys music, football, basketball, and reading science fiction.

Dr Tang is very good doctor.
On a recent visit, Dr. Tang went above and beyond researching a lot of films looking for the presence of plaque . He knew I would be resistant to starting a cholesterol medication. As always he came prepared with my latest labs and he explained why it was time to start the medication. He gave me ample opportunity to ask questions and he started me on the lowest dose necessary. 3months later he was right and labs were great!He is very forward thinking and a treats the patient with a very holistic approach. I've been on a glp-1 for the past 10 months. I lost 55 pounds and he has guided me every step of the way. He has tried to make sure that you are healthy while losing weight. Most medical providers just simply don't have the time to make sure you are drinking your water, getting proper nutrition and exercise. He realized the Importance of a weight loss clinic early on.He will always listen to my thoughts and concerns . I feel very validated and supported . I trust that he has thoroughly researched everything pertaining to my care. He is just a rare gem and one of a kind. I'm very grateful for his care.
